Karun Chandhok showed his race winning pace from last year's second race in Spa to take the top spot on his last lap in qualifying this afternoon, but a 10 place penalty from Valencia hands tomorrow's pole position to iSport teammate Bruno Senna, who had led the field during the wet session until the Indian's amazing final lap.

Formula One arrives at Spa Francorchamps this weekend, the circuit which winds through the Ardennes forests is a favourite of many and none more so than Kimi Raikkonen who has won every Grand Prix here since 2004.

Fernando Alonso set the pace in the second free practice session at Spa Francorchamps this afternoon. The Spaniard prevailed in a session that saw slower laptimes than the morning and a sprinkling of rain mid way through the session.
Alonso moved to the top of the time-sheets fairly late in the day and stayed there despite Felipe Massa setting some ominous purple sector times. The Brazilian had to settle for 2nd just half a tenth shy of the Renault although he remained quickest overall.

Felipe Massa set the pace during the opening practice session for the Belgium Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps this morning, the Brazilian comfortably headed team-mate Kimi Raikkonen as the Ferrari team laid down the early gauntlet to the McLaren team.
Perhaps determined to show that it is he who (and not Massa) owns Spa, Raikkonen pushed hard but his driving looked more reminiscent of Lewis Hamilton as he locked brakes and slid his way around to 2nd fastest.
